Portland’s local shops and beautiful weather are flaunting some serious outdoor vibes. Camptober mood board to inspire!
Jeff and I spent last Sunday drinking champagne at Clyde Common, liquid chocolate at Cacao and wandering the new Union Way alley Across from the Ace Hotel. This promenade houses a collection of shops worth visiting… Will Leather Goods, Danner, Steven Allen and Marine Layer. Karen Zack who works at Danner was rock’n the Tramline boots that are now on my christmas wish list. Mountain to street perfection!

O U T D O O R   I N S P I R E D  Creative Showcase!
 
The Cultivators are the creative culture ambassador team within Columbia’s Design organization. The mission is to “plant, grow and cultivate a vibrant design culture, so that our internal design, inspiration and work ethic flourishes and overflows into the big wide world.”
 
Last night the show featured art inspired by the outdoors created by The Cultivator’s talented designers and artists, in a range of mediums to raise funds for Friends of Outdoor School. I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by the most glorious creatives. What an amazing night. On top, my art raised 100 dollar bills for Friends of Outdoor School.

Getting lost in a sea of delicate florals, pastel prints and icy cold crystals. 
Pastels do have a place in our cold weather wardrobe rotation. Chalky hues may not be a conventional choice in autumn, but they are a welcome pop amongst the ubiquitous all-black ensembles.

Gap just came out with a high-rise (the best cut in my opinion) skinny jean – online only. Simple skinny cut with minimal stitching, dark wash, a little stretch and a hell of a great fit for $69! If you are a gap card member they often send coupons in your inbox for 40% off as well as Reward Certificates. Because of these discounts I snatched this grained leather leopard print calf hair clutch for $29. Also, welcome to WrightforMichele’s newest addition :: The price is Wright. Here I’ll be sharing fashion finds found for cheap so you can benefit from the deals whether it be eBay, internet shopping or local Portland events.
