Good morning beautiful.

Morning: The best time of day… I mean really! Even on a work day. The smells, the food, the sounds of spoons clanking coffee cups. The whistle of milk being steamed. Birds talking to one another. Pesky woodpeckers up early trying to one up everyone. Starting fresh. The morning stretch. The crisp air no matter what time of year.  Breathing!

Just a lovely quote I stumbled upon:

So true. 
Keep smiling, do what makes you feel good and believe in yourself.

I’m a total masher when it comes to prints. Camo and leopard are great vehicles to mash with just about anything. Vibrant colors, prints, patterns or plaids.  So mush it.. Layer it.. Then work it!

I think Jeff used up all of his cuss words and insults on our photog sesh right before this one (which I have yet to post). It was truly epic and semi-traumatizing. For those of you that know Jeff or us as a couple can confirm that this angry side of “Reffrey” or “Safety Jeff” is totally reasonable, tolerable and quite comical. I sometimes wonder how my obnoxiousness swooped up such a serious yet accommodating and responsible human.

Big girl camera

I finally got my big girl camera back from the repair shop after 2 months of BS and lots of dollars. 

It’s been a crazy week at work for me which means long hours. Something I don’t mind once and awhile; I do love my job and I’m fortunate to be working on creative projects all day. On top of that I have lots of little do-over projects happening on the side and some apparel sewing projects on my to-do list which means more posts to come and even more that are waiting. schwing.

These photo’s were taken by my lovely friend Brittney… Jeff wouldn’t have any part of it per usual. I avoided mine and Jeff’s typical banter of cuss words and eye rolls and asked Brittney to take some photo’s for me. 
Brittney is absolutely on the top of my favorite people on this planet. For a girl full of compliments to give, I’d love to know what she’d say if she met herself for the first time; she’d absolutely die. She’s a gem inside and out. Love you!

Wright this down | DIY Organic sugar scrub

I have been using this for the past week and my skin has been like wooow! Keep it in your shower and even use it to shave your branches. Just apply and rinse the salt/sugar granules off then shave. The oils are are good for your body inside and out.

I have to start off by saying that Jeff knows he’s being watched. Unfortunately there is no ridiculous news to be broadcasted about torturing photog needs. He was a good sport this time, but I will say he really does need to get a bit more creative. 
This is my first pair of Tom’s and I’m super stoked about them. Not only are they the easiest boots to throw on with ANYTHING, they are way comfortable and with every pair purchased, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. Amazing!These boots are $89.00!
