If you missed the Portland Bazaar over the weekend, make sure you don’t next year. Just don’t expect to do your christmas shopping here. You’ll most likely be distracted by the cool treasures you want for yourself.
The venue that this was held at is called the Sandbox Studio which was a former forklift factory. I snapped some shots along the way and will post pictures tomorrow of my visit to one of my favorite vendors store that was at this bazaar.

No these are not muddlers!

It was one of those Saturdays where I only left the house once, just to succulent shop. Terrariums, a transparent globe of goodness. Succulents, the friendliest and easiest plants to grow.
What you need: Charcoal for water drainage (place at bottom of terrarium or planting dish)
Succulent potting soil goes in next
Exotic rocks to lay on top of soil for decoration
Moss for decoration
Various succulent for planting

Sugar Me is portland’s first sugaring studio and local boutique. If you haven’t checked it out, you need to stat. Katie Sprouse (owner) has mastered the art of sugaring. What is sugaring? …sugar+lemon+water and removes hair anywhere naturally.
Thanks for the great party Katie, see you Wednesday for sugaring.

I found this wood scrap in a pile of remodel debris in the backyard of my house. Beveled edges and all; I have no idea where this came from but I won.

Columbia Sportswear through Instagram… Basically these New York trips are Columbia’s Color and Print Committee’s time to research the marketplace and competition. We meet with Global Trend services to share future color direction for the season and Print Design Studio’s to purchase graphics or prints for seasonal inspiration.

I started "Wright for Michele" back in 2010 as a creative outlet and to share the things I love (basically the exact same reason the rest of the internet started blogging). Often this blog is about family, sometimes it’s about style, and in general it’s about life and how you (and me) can make every single area in it, better. It’s simple, it’s real (sometimes a little raw and almost always full of grammatical errors), it’s honest and hopefully no matter what it’s a little sweet.
